πŸ“„ How Do I Import Contacts From a CSV List

As the host or cohost, if you have a list of contact you would like to invite to an event, you can import the list into Hobnob. This feature is currently available for iPhone users only.

Prepare Your List

  1. Make sure your list is in a CSV (Comma Separated Values) format.
  2. Set up the fields to make it easy to import. We recommend 4 fields:
    1. First Name
    2. Last Name
    3. Phone Number
    4. Email Address
  1. Ensure that phone numbers have the full 10 digits including area code.
  2. Make sure to include a full email.
  3. Save it to an app that support CSV that is easy to access on your phone, such as Google Sheets.

Import Your List

  1. Open your Event in the Hobnob app
  2. Tap Add Guests
  3. Select Import Numbers or Emails
  4. Choose Import CSV File
  5. Switch to CSV app and copy all fields
  6. Switch back to Hobnob and paste file
  7. Select Add
  8. All valid contact methods will be imported to Hobnob
  9. Save to Guest List
  10. Review all contacts on Guest List and Send
